Rhubarb Glazed Ribs

Dry rubbed ribs slow cooked then glazed with Rhubarb Earl Grey Spreadable Fruit.

Dry rubbed ribs slow cooked then glazed with Rhubarb Earl Grey Spreadable Fruit.

Ingredients

3-4 lbs ribs

½ jar of Rhubarb Earl Grey Spreadable Fruit

for the dry rub :

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

2 teaspoons paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne or crushed red pepper

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon coriander

1 teaspoon ginger

Recipe

Mix the dry rub ingredients together.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a casserole dish or baking pan, lay the ribs flat and rub with the dry spice mixture.

Cover the dish with lid or tightly wrapped tin foil.

Bake for 2 hours.

Remove the covering, glaze generously with the spreadable fruit as you would with a BBQ sauce.

Return the oven, uncovered for 15-20 minutes until sticky.

Remove from the oven and serve hot.

To reheat, bake covered at 300 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
